Russian viral video of doctor hitting patient who dies
CCTV footage has developed of a Russian healing center specialist punching a patient who given way and later kicked the bucket.
The episode occurred in the city of Belgorod, 670km (440 miles) south of the capital, Moscow, on 29 December.
The patient had before kicked a medical caretaker, after which the specialist punched him in the head, Russian media reported.
Examiners think it was an instance of "automatic homicide", one authority told Russian TV, yet have propelled a criminal case.
The story turned into a web sensation after the CCTV footage became visible.
Yelena Kozyreva from the nearby examinations advisory group said they accepted there was no malevolent purpose in the specialist's activities.
