Australia lake old meteorite

Antiquated meteorite 'more seasoned than Earth' from past circle of Mars found at Lake Eyre

A meteorite evaluated to be 4.5 billion years of age has been recuperated by Perth specialists from a remote piece of Lake Eyre in outback South Australia.

In a race against time, the geologists uncovered the 1.7-kilogram meteorite hours before overwhelming downpours would have wiped away any hint of it.

The group from Curtin University had been attempting to track the fall site subsequent to the meteorite was spotted by local people and five remote cameras in late November in the William Creek and Marree areas.

Be that as it may, on New Year's Eve, as substantial downpours fermented a storm, the group discovered their needle in a pile.
