Group USA debuts new Olympic uniforms
Group USA will be wearing uniforms especially designed by Polo Ralph Lauren amid the Olympics' opening and closing ceremonies, and on Wednesday, "Today" show viewers got a sneak peak.
Amid the morning show, athletes from Team USA displayed the energetic look they'll wear amid Rio's closing service. The uniforms for the opening ceremonies will be divulged closer to the August 5 start date for the 2016 games.
At the closing service, Team USA members will have the capacity to choose between a red, white or blue conservative shirt decorated with Polo's pony logo on the front and "U-S-An" on the back. This will be worn over a striped shirt with khaki chino shorts. Accessories incorporate a couple of deck shoes, a cotton wristband and a belt - all in red, white and blue designs.
Gold medals are excluded.
The greater part of the pieces are accessible for purchase web, starting April 27. More Team USA pieces will go on sale in May.
